One of the aspects that users of this distro complained about is having to enter account credentials too often, which was annoying. One of the main innovations that have come with this new version of Elementary OS is the possibility of installing programs without administrator permissions.

What we have seen is a new version of the current version, the 5 “Hera”, which comes with interesting changes and improvements to continue shaping this excellent alternative to macOS.

Although the users of this distro are waiting for the arrival of the new big update, Elementary OS 6, which will be based on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, at the moment it seems that this new version has not yet arrived.
